There are many things that people
are trusting to save.
In today's popular Christian culture, one may get the idea
that walking an aisle, raising a hand, praying a prayer, or having an emotional
experience equals salvation. Some may be trusting a "decision" that they
made. People can begin to look at, and rely upon those types of things for
assurance that they are saved. The differences between saving faith
and counterfeit faith are not easy to detect without proper teaching.
Scripture says that our faith is to be in Christ
alone! The deception of false assurance can be subtle, but the
results are eternal.
This site exists to try and clearly
draw the lines between trusting Christ, and the mere appearance of
trusting him. Please carefully consider the information on these pages, and
ask yourself this," What do I base my assurance of eternal life on?
"Is it looking back to some past event? --Something "I" did?-- Or
are you looking to Jesus alone in the present?
The
difference may seem slight, but it could be the difference between
Heaven or Hell!

Jesus said, "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord,
Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will
of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord,
Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils?
and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess
unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
(Matt.7:21-23)
